How can we as consumers save energy?
The purpose of this article is to warn that a difficult winter awaits us in terms of energy if we do not save it, and to show how we can create new saving habits as daily users of energy so that everyone fulfills their contributing role in this time of energy crisis.
This entire article aims to mitigate the energy crisis, by also helping with the supply of electricity so that we can spend the upcoming winter season with fewer consequences for all, businesses, industries, as well as family economies.
The desired success is achieved if each of us, with the opportunities and capacities we have, finds the best way to save electricity, by consuming less energy, rationalizing its use, or finding different ways to replace electricity with other energy sources.
The need to reduce the consumption of electricity is of great importance in this time of crisis, so I am offering some easy and practical instructions on how it can be saved by all of us as individuals or as businesses, through various forms that are easily applicable.
The basis of reducing energy consumption is the most rational use, saving by using appliances at the right time and with optimal potential, not maximum.
Then, as an opportunity to save, there is also the use of the low tariff, during which energy is almost half as cheap (22:00 - 07:00 during the winter), which allows you to save your financial budget and at the same time contribute to the reduction of load in the energy distribution network, during the peak time when consumption is maximum.
Also, if we commit ourselves to change the lighting at home to "LED diode" bulbs, lower the water temperature in the boilers by 5 degrees, and fill the boiling pots with which we prepare the dishes, with only the amount of water that is enough for cooking, as well as when we have the opportunity to prepare food with a wood stove or with gas and not with electricity, we would reach a stage where we have energy for everyone even during the time when the demand for energy is maximum.
So, if each of us would reduce the consumption of electricity, committing to following the advice above, the energy crisis would be mitigated and we would be satisfied because we would have energy even in these times of crisis.
