Today is the deadline for submitting documents from businesses for market liberalization, KESCO is verifying all applications
Today is the deadline for submitting documentation from small businesses that wish to continue to be part of the supply with regulated tariffs by KESCO. The required documents are the business certificate with a unique number and the customer number. Based on them, it is confirmed that all those businesses that do not have 50+ employees or 10+ million euros in annual turnover do not meet the conditions to enter the open market.
KESCO announces that it has received an extremely high number of applications from businesses and the verification process will take time. Applications were made via email, the online platform launched by the company specifically for this process and at the company's offices throughout Kosovo. You can apply for a short time only online at this link: https://openmarket.kesco-energy.com/business/create
Meanwhile, from June 1, all large businesses that meet one of the two prerequisites mentioned above will enter the open market and must choose their own supplier. They will be able to be supplied by KESCO without regulated tariffs or by any of the operators licensed in Kosovo as a supplier.
Market liberalization is a process that all countries in the region have gone through. Kosovo had started it by liberalizing consumers connected to 110 kV lines a few years ago. This process is based on ERO decisions and is mandatory for all operators.
