On February 8, 2022, when the ERO approved the new electricity tariffs, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo pledged to provide 100 million euros to subsidize the coverage of a part of the cost for all consumers, that are included in the final calculation.

Accordingly, the current tariffs which are in force include the subsidy of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, of which 47 million euros have been allocated for the period February-August 2022.

To facilitate and better understand the difference in the amount subsidized by the Government, KESCO has developed the calculator: http://subsidy.kesco-energy.com, where the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo can not only see the total amount of the bill, but also the value of this subsidy, which is automatically deducted from the customer’s billing.

On the site created by KESCO, this subsidy is calculated automatically, by simply writing the customer number found at the upper part of the bill.
