KESCO informs the public that yesterday it has submitted a proposal to ERO regarding the implementation of new tariffs to not start from February 9, 2022, as proposed, but from the next billing cycle.  

This proposal has come as a result of the difficulties to cut the reading status in one day for all our customers in the Republic of Kosovo. We intend with this proposal to avoid customer confusion in billing this month by applying the same tariffs with the new tariffs.

If ERO will consider our proposal, then the current billing will be applied with the old tariffs for all customers. Despite the high demand for electricity this winter month, KESCO is committed to bearing the relevant costs, as a relief to the consumer.
At the same time, KESCO will launch a massive campaign to advise consumers on how to best use their appliances in order to easily cope with the billing period with new tariffs.
