Consumer bills - 'One' with the symbolic color of Pink Month
This month, you will receive the electricity bill at home in a different color than you are used to. KESCO has decided to print pink bills for all consumers, as a sign of the breast cancer awareness cause, which is being marked during the month of October all over the world.
The main symbol of the KESCO and KEDS campaign dedicated to this cause has already been placed as a slogan on the bills and aims to encourage as many women as possible to take action and take care of themselves. By the end of the month, each printed bill will arrive at their home.
This symbol is inspired by the ancient legend of Rozafat, finding meaning in the character's name and her struggle to stay alive.
Our aim through this campaign is to raise awareness of the risk of the disease and about the short term (time) within which we (especially women) must act. But, of course, part of the campaign is solidarity with women who are already affected by this disease.
In order to mark this cause, the company first took care to call on female employees through announcements to take care of their health, and to make the necessary systematic checks by using the health insurance offered by the company.
Meanwhile, we also supported women affected by breast cancer in Kosovo, through donations and material support or equipment for organizations and hospitals that distribute these donations in the appropriate places.
To further mark this day, the employees of the company under the leadership of the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Alpin DOGAN, tomorrow, October 14, will participate in the traditional informative-cultural event with the motto "EARLY DISCOVERY - SURVIVAL."
This event, like every year, is organized under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, together with the Kosovar Center for Fighting Breast Cancer "JETA/VITA."
